This is fan-freaking-tastic… it’s so yummy and probably gets all 5 of your vegetable servings in one drink.

(for two people)

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe tomato
  • 1 oz of salsa (or some onion & some spices on hand)
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 dash of your favorite hot sauce
  • water to thin and ice to cool

for a sweeter variation, drop the salsa and add a cored apple. do not peel anything, just cut the tops & bottoms, chop and blend all ingredients until smooth and to the consistency you like.

Another option would be to strain or let the fibers settle and then use them for something else, but I liked it fine all fiber-y. (plus, it’s good for yer pooper!)
