notes: The moveable man stencil is really cool. The thing that is especially different about it is that it is a stencil by which one draws around the outside of the figure. Certain areas of the moveable man need to be addressed by freehand because they simply are not adequate: such areas include the hands, the back, knees, and front of the ankles. Sometimes the shoulders, too. All of these parts need to be hand-drawn or the figure feels too stiff.
A number of ideas bubble to the surface in this study, specifically in that the most relaxed characters are towards the bottom of the heap. This wasn’t an intentional manifestation; however, I like the assumption it presents.
