About

A Life In The Making is exactly that, twice. It is both making a life and a life that is consistently invested in making. I choose to live “simply” in an age where life is often wildly overcomplicated. I prefer make much of what I consume, rather than purchase readymade items, but this doesn’t mean that I don’t buy things. I just try to do the best I can with what I have.

I am deeply invested in traditional methods, simply-sourced materials, and age-old techniques. I believe in living slowly, gracefully, and with great patience; though patience, often, requires my most strident effort. And A Life In The Making is never short of effort.
